Jannie West was born in Nesmith, South Carolina to the late Glean Nesmith on September 17, 1949. Jannie leaves loving memories to her 5 children: James (Lucille), Donald (Sheila), Christopher (Acashia), Shenica (Bernard), & Rashad; 6 grandchildren: Lorenzo, Rachel, Lorraine, Crystal, Rayshaun, & Dontasha; 2 step-grandchildren: James & Jakayla; 2 great-grandchildren; 8 sisters, Alice, Sadie, Carolyn, Rosetta, Gwen, Sennie (Albert), late Tomisena and Cherrie; 1 brother, Ray (Mary); and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She was much loved and is deeply missed by all her friends and family. If Roses grow in Heaven, Lord please pick a bunch for me, Place them in my Mother's arms And tell her they're from me. Tell her I love her and miss her, And when she turns to smile, Place a kiss upon her cheek And hold her for awhile. Because remembering her is easy, I do it every day, But there's an ache within my heart Because I am missing her today.
